Event: Boston Baseball Hack Day 2012

Event that I planned, scheduled, organized, got sponsored for, and participated in March. I also created a companion web site in responsive design, using HTML5 boilerplate. Co-sponsored event of Hacks/Hackers Boston, and Society of American Baseball Research, Boston Chapter, two local organization that I am (proud to be a) part of. Hoping to make this into an annual event.

A google chart generating tool that I created with a team in a hack day challenge at Online News Association 2011 conference. Javascript and Google Chart API. Won “Most Practical” award.

A weekly Red Sox podcast, planned, produced, hosted and edited by me, with Red Sox writers from the Globe. Started March 2010 and produced 80 episodes so far in three years. Averaging around 1,700-2,000 downloads a week.

Interactive: Rich and poor

Comparing the changes in median income to see if there is a trend in Massachusetts towns. Last 10 years, rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer. Using SVG map, rendered and schaled using raphael library in JS. Collaboration with co-worker Tom Giratikanon.
