Inc.com and FastCompany.com, 2000- 2003

As a lead designer/online art director, I oversaw overall web design and user experience for both Inc. (Inc.com) and FastCompany magazines’ (fastcompany.com) web sites under direction of design director Pat Mitchell (now of pluto media) from 2000 to 2003.

Web sites contained magazine contents dating back 20 years and over 15K pages. Completed three web redesigns: FastCompany.com’s XHTML/CSS conversion in April 2003, FastCompany.com in July 2002, and Inc.com in May 2002. All of the redesign was collaboration work with Dan Cederholm, now author of multiple web design books and the owner of Simplebits design studio (simplebits.com). Collaborated with editors and programmers. Coordinated a team of production staff and supervised interns.
